What kind of service do you offer?
We offer regular domestic cleaning services, one-off, spring cleaning, pre/end of tenancy cleaning, after party cleaning. A full list of our cleaning services can be found here.
How long will it take you to find me a cleaner?
We try to supply you with a suitable cleaner instantly or within 24-48 hrs. This depends on where you live, what days you want and how flexible your requirements are.
How do you ensure the quality of your cleaners?
All potential cleaners are interviewed at our office to ensure the suitability of the applicant. In addition to that we require cleaners to provide us with verifiable proof of identification, address and two referees, one of which has to be a previous employer.
All our cleaners are D.B.S vetted before being considered ready for work and we require proof that all cleaners have a legal entitlement to work in the UK and have a basic understanding and spoken English. All cleaners must register with our agency and complete forms designed to safeguard our clients.

Are your cleaners reference checked?
Yes they are. We take up references for all our cleaners and those references have to be excellent before we allow them to work for us.
Do you have insurance cover?
We have employers and public liability insurance to cover for any major damage within your home, there is excess on all claims for which you would be responsible. The insurance cover is offered to provide peace of mind in the event of any major incidents or damage to your property.
Can I meet the cleaner first?
Yes, we can arrange a meeting with you and the cleaner at your house at a convenient time.
Will I get the same cleaner every time?
Yes, you will normally get the same cleaner to do your weekly cleaning. That way you will know who is coming into your home each week and your cleaner will be able to work out a routine with you as to what you would like done on each visit.
Of course, cleaners do go on holiday or may be sick and on these occasions we will supply a replacement cleaner who will continue the regular cleaning service at your home until your regular cleaner is ready for work again. If your cleaner leaves we will allocate a new cleaner to carry on your regular cleaning.

What if I'm not happy with my cleaner for any reason?
Simply let us know of your concerns and we will do all we can to put things right remedy the situation as quickly as possible, or to allocate a new cleaner to you.
Can I specify which day my cleaner comes each week?
Yes you can specify your choice of days.
Who provides the cleaning materials?
- For Regular Domestic Cleaning.
We use your cleaning materials. We find that customers like the comfort of buying their own cleaning materials so their home can smell and feel exactly how they would like it to. Please note that our cleaners are advised against the use bleach therefore alternative products should be provided.
We recommend products that are eco-friendly and multi purpose use products to save space in your cleaning cupboard.
- For End of Tenancy Cleaning and most One off Cleaning.
We use your cleaning products and materials, however we can purchase them and bring them with us if you prefer, for an additional charge. This can be discussed when you book the service.
What is your policy on using bleach based products?
We would always advise against using strong bleach based products because of the long-term impact such products have on the environment and on people who come into contact with it on a daily basis. Alternative professional quality but more eco-friendly products will always be recommended. We find that bleach only bleaches/whitens dirt but does not remove it.
Can my cleaner come when I am at work?
Yes, you can leave a set of keys with the cleaner. You don't have to be in on the day the cleaner comes. All our cleaners are trained in safe key-holding so we can assure you that your keys are safe with our staff. We provide a Key Security Deposit form for Secure Key Holding.
What happens if I move house?
We can transfer your account to your new address within the London area.
What if I have pets?
Please let us know if you have pets when you book and we will find you a cleaner who is happy to work around both cats and dogs. Additional costs maybe incurred for cleaning items or areas outside of the normal household items such as a pet’s bedding, bowls or trays.
Who pays the cleaner, you or me?
You pay Helping Hands123 Services Ltd and we pay the cleaner.
What happens if I cannot use all my hours of cleaning?
You can ask your cleaners to do other things like laundry. Please check our Cleaning Task List for details of other tasks your cleaner can perform.
Do I have to sign an annual contract?
No. You sign a Service Agreement so all parties are clear on the services to be carried out and you can cancel by giving us one weeks notice.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, by giving us one weeks notice.
What tasks will the cleaner normally carry out?
Your cleaner will do all the usual vacuuming, dusting and polishing and will clean the bathrooms, kitchen, hallway and most other general household cleaning duties within your home at your request. However the cleaners are not allowed to perform any deep or specialized cleaning of any antique, delicate or valuable items, including deep carpet cleaning. Also they will not do outside window cleaning or work at heights.
